Bongros has the same physical and chemical properties to human bone mineral [CAP(Carbon-apatite, Ca10(PO4)6CO3)]. It is used for regeneration and replacement of defected bone. Bongros slowly and chemically unites to the surrounding tissue and provides scaffold for new bone ingrowth and maintains space till the formation is completed.
